Current maintenance work
In June and July 2026, legally required maintenance and servicing work will take place.
Sauna world: The cold water channel and the whirlpool in the sauna garden are closed from 22 June. You can use the cold water channel again from 23 June, and the whirlpool in the sauna garden from 24 June. All saunas remain open throughout.
Indoor and outdoor pool:
Closed from 28 June, 18:00, until 3 July 2026, 14:00.
All other areas, including the indoor and outdoor pool with healing thermal water, the entire wellness world and all hotel amenities, remain fully available to you. If you have any questions, we’re happy to help.

Arrival by Thermenlandbus
With the Thermenlandbus, your time out begins as soon as you set off. The public bus service of the Thermen- & Vulkanland Steiermark, run together with Österreichische Postbus AG, brings you comfortably and stress-free from Vienna to Bad Waltersdorf every day. No traffic jams, no hunting for parking, no car of your own needed.
The line runs daily between Vienna Central Station and Fürstenfeld and stops right in the centre of Bad Waltersdorf. We’re happy to pick you up there free of charge. Please let us know when booking so we can arrange a shuttle for you.
Weekdays: twice daily, there and back
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: once daily

Holiday with your dog
Dogs are warmly welcome. The flat rate is € 28 per night in double rooms, € 38 per night in Junior Suites (excluding food).
Our four-legged guests are allowed in the room, the lobby and the hotel bar SAPHYRIA.
In the PANORAMA restaurant and throughout the GOLD SPA area, dogs are not permitted for hygiene reasons.

Payment options
Extras such as treatments, food and drinks can be conveniently charged to your room bill. Please sign the bill to do so. On departure you can settle the total bill in cash, by debit/EC card, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club or American Express.
The nearest ATM is located in the centre of Bad Waltersdorf.
Travel insurance
We recommend taking out travel insurance through our partner Europäische Reiseversicherung.
Cancellation conditions
General
Free cancellation up to 2 days before arrival (18:00 local time).
Cancellation within 2 days:
- up to 1 day before arrival (18:00): 50 % of the total amount
- on the arrival day, as well as in case of no-show or early departure: 100 % of the total amount
Excluded: Christmas, New Year’s Eve and the Seelenkuss package.
If you postpone the reservation, the deposit you have paid remains as credit for your next stay. For refunds we retain a processing fee of € 20.

No free cancellation possible. 100% prepayment at booking. Cancellation fee: 100% of the booked package. Payment with third-party vouchers is not possible.
Rebooking possible up to 7 days before arrival for a € 35 fee. Price differences for the new date are due immediately.

Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival (18:00 local time).
Payment deadline Christmas: total amount by 15 December 2026 at the latest. Payment deadline New Year’s Eve: total amount by 20 December 2026 at the latest.
Cancellation within 14 days:
- 13 to 10 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount
- 9 days to arrival day, as well as no-show or early departure: 100% of the total amount
