Welcome to our house. The SPA RESORT STYRIA****S is an adults only wellness hotel from 16 years in the 2-Thermenregion Bad Waltersdorf. The natural healing thermal water from 1,200 metres deep awaits you, pleasantly tempered to approx. 35 °C in the 2,500 m² GOLD SPA.

You receive your bathing bag on loan at check-in at reception. You will find the bathrobe in your room. You can collect bath towels at any time at the SPA reception on the 1st lower level.

Early check-in and late check-out subject to availability. Please ask at reception the evening before.
Overnight and spa tax: € 3.50 per person and night, legally required. Effective December 1, 2026, the rate will increase to €3.80.
The lodging and spa tax is a legally mandated tax that we collect on behalf of the municipality of Bad Waltersdorf and forward in full to the municipality. It is charged in addition to the room rate and is not included in our services.
GOLD SPA opening hours & information
The 2,500 m² GOLD SPA is located on the 1st and 2nd lower levels. Healing thermal water, sauna world, fitness room and spa treatments under one roof.
Bath towels: You can collect bath towels at any time at the SPA reception on the 1st lower level.
Bathing shoes: Please bring your own. Flip flops are available for € 8.90 at reception.
Solarium: Use from 18 years. Coins at the SPA reception or hotel reception. Level -2.
Quiet is the top priority in the GOLD SPA.
The entire area is a non-smoking zone.
You will find sauna infusions in the weekly programme.
Cuisine & opening hours
PANORAMA restaurant
Evening attire: We kindly ask for clothing appropriate to the ambience. Ladies elegant as always, gentlemen preferably in long trousers and closed shoes.
In the evening: 6-course menu with a starter buffet, theme buffet on Fridays. Vegan and vegetarian possible, for a surcharge of € 15 per person. Please indicate at booking, at the latest the day before.
Half board
With booked half board, the breakfast buffet and dinner are included. Subsequent surcharge for half board: € 49 per person.
You will find live music evenings in the weekly programme.
Room service
Food and drinks to your room, surcharge € 12 per order. Order via ext. 916.
Book spa treatments
Massages, body wraps, facials and beauty treatments. You will find the full range in the SPA folder in your room or on the spa treatments page.

Golf
The 18-hole golf course is located right next to the resort. As a hotel guest you receive a discount on the green fee at GC Bad Waltersdorf. Tee times and carts on request at reception.
Tennis & squash
At the Aktivpark Bad Waltersdorf: 4 indoor and 8 outdoor courts as well as 2 squash courts. Registration at reception.
Hiking & running
Over 200 km of marked hiking and running trails around Bad Waltersdorf, some directly from the resort. Maps at reception.
Room & service
Room cleaning
Daily. Room towels on the floor are changed, hung-up ones only when soiled.
For more privacy and environmental protection: hang out the door hanger and forgo room cleaning, and we then donate to a bee organisation.
Power & key card
Insert the key card into the holder next to the door. Air conditioning, heating and minibar also work without the card. The key card also opens the main entrance at night and must be returned at reception on departure.
Air conditioning
Set the temperature via the control unit in the room. When a window or balcony door is open, the control is out of operation. All three indicator lights flash in this case.
Minibar
Only selected room categories have a stocked minibar. Individual stocking on request, order via ext. 912, by QR code at the minibar or via the form.
Safe
Available in every room. The statutory liability limit applies. Valuables outside the safe are not insured.
Laundry & ironing service
Laundry bag and price list in the wardrobe. Hand in at reception, return to your room. Ironing service on request.
Payment options
Charge extras to the room bill (sign receipts). Payment: cash, EC/debit card, VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express. Nearest ATM in the centre of Bad Waltersdorf.
Dogs welcome: in the room, lobby and hotel bar.
Dogs not permitted: in the restaurant, breakfast room and SPA.
If you would like to dine with your dog, we will set up a table for you in the library on request.
